Jammin’ in the Vineyard: Hallowine Party

Eat, drink and be scary at Jammin’ in the vineyard Hallowine Party featuring all the treats – rockin’ local bands, delicious wine, and tasty food. No tricks, we promise!

Live Music Lineup:
1:00-3:30: Steve Foresman
Whether he’s wailing out full-tilt rock on his electric guitar or singing a moody ballad with that patented velvet baritone voice, no one delivers from the stage quite like Steve. He’s sure to grow his devoted following afterhis visit to Jammin’ in the Vineyard this summer!

4:00-6:30: JGJ Band
Start with an acoustic guitar, add two multi-instrumentalists playing bass, percussion,
harmonica, and keyboards; throw in some innovative live-looping and a drummer of many grooves…now point it all squarely at your favorite hits of the 1960’s through 2000’s…and that’s JGJ Band!

The Art of Blending Competition

Event begins at 6:30pm
Have you ever wondered how and why winemakers craft their red blends in a certain fashion? If so, our Art of Blending Competition is the perfect event for you!At the event, guests will be split into 4 teams, and each team will be tasked with creating their own masterful red, Bordeaux-style blend using various barrel samples. Each team will be “coached” by both Lake Michigan College Program Director, Michael Moyer and experienced Winemaker and Viticulturist, Mike de Schaaf. The winning blend will win a gift card to LM Vintners Tasting Room.

Light appetizers will be provided during the competition. Tasting is a must throughout the blending process, as you perfect your Bordeaux-style blend.

Cost:   $35/person for Wine Club Members
$40/person for Non Wine Club Members

Baby you were born to ride … on over to Jammin’ in the Vineyard Easy Riders and Pork Sliders for fiery rock /n roll, smokin’ pork sliders, and cool wine, spirits, and beer to wash it all down. Die-hard biker enthusiasts and weekend riders alike are welcome!

1:00-3:30: Brian Murphy
Known as a “musical encyclopedia”, Murph has played with plenty of Chicago bands, but his solo show is the best place to experience his awe-inspiring musical and vocal versatility and you’ll get to experience it here!

4:00-6:30: Parallel Hope
Easy Riders and Pork Sliders need some kicked-up acoustic rock to go down easy. Michiana’s Parallel Hope join us with the powerful vocals of Miss Hopey fronting the acoustic sounds of your favorite tunes, both old and new.

Homegrown Beer Dinner

Public House Beer Dinners are back and in a big way! Taste the flavor of Michigan at our first-ever pairing dinner featuring an entire menu of food and brews crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Learn about Michigan’s terroir and those that cultivate it while enjoying our head brewer and culinary director’s renditions of their harvest.
